Callie’s Place Holding ‘Meet MAVE’ and Pet Supply Drive Event

Tuscaloosa area animal rescue Callie's Place plans to host a 'Meet MAVE' and supply drive event on Sunday, February 21st.

You're probably wondering who or what is MAVE? Well, Callie's Place says the letters stand for Making Animal Voices Empowered.

The rescue is reaching out to the community for support with supplies needed to take care of animals.

Here's a list of donation items being requested:

• Dry or canned dog food
• Dog treats and bones
• Blankets and towels
• Bath mats
• Hand sanitizer
• Paper towels
• Clorox and Clorox wipes
• Dawn dishwashing detergent

Callie's Place 'Meet MAVE' and supply drive will take place at Pet Supplies Plus located on McFarland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa, this Sunday (Feb. 21) from 1 until 4 p.m.
