It's officially official! Brad Paisley has been added to the panel for ABC's summer reality show, 'Rising Star.' He's holding it down for country music but will be joined by two other talented artists.

After much speculation, it's confirmed that Paisley will be the country representative on the show. He will join pop singer Kesha and rapper Ludacris on the summer show that premieres Sunday June 22. It will be similar to 'American Idol' in the sense that the panel of judges will give feedback on the singer's performances but the viewers at home get to decide who stays or who gets the boot.

The difference is that it all revolves around a giant video wall, according to Entertainment Weekly. It's three stories tall and 90 feet wide, according to the video promo. The hopeful artists perform to the wall while viewers at home begin to vote on their performance in real-time. As they get higher marks, the video wall rises. If they get high enough scores, the performers get a little taste of the studio audience that they otherwise can't see.

The judges will be joined by another talented musician. Josh Groban is set to host the new show. It will premiere on Sunday, June 22 at 9PM ET on ABC. One week before his judging premiere, look for Paisley at the Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, N.Y.
