Blake Shelton Played Surprise Concert in Birmingham over the Weekend

The announcement came early Saturday (01/30) that Blake Shelton would play a surprise concert later that night at Iron City in Birmingham.

Just before 11am on Saturday, Blake Shelton posted a message on his Twitter account using #serious to ward off any non-believers.

The venue then followed up with instructions on how concertgoers could get in to the free concert! Starting at 11 am, they would give out wristbands to the first 1,300 people who arrived at Iron City.

The venue followed up on their Facebook page at 1:50 pm announcing that all wristband had been given out.

Birmingham based photographer Kenwyn Alexander followed up with a set of pictures and video from the show on his Instagram account as did the majority of everyone else at the show Saturday night!
