Adele suits Billy Gilman. The Team Adam Levine member performed the pop star's "All I Ask" during Monday night's (Nov. 21) Top 11 round.

Prior to his performance, Gilman shared that the first time he ever performed "All I Ask" live was during his The Voice audition. Readers can press play above to watch Gilman's performance.

"Billy, I'm running out of awesome things to say about you at this point," Blake Shelton told Gilman after his performance. "I think the question is, do you ever hit a bad note?"

Added Gilman's coach, Levine, "You can sing all the perfect notes, but it doesn't matter if you don't feel it, and ... you really made me feel something. It felt so pure and real and honest, and I think that is so important."

Gilman skyrocketed to stardom following the release of “One Voice,” his debut single, in 2000; he was 11 years old at the time, making him the youngest country artist to ever earn a Top 40 hit. Gilman’s album of the same name earned double-platinum status, but his following singles and albums did not achieve the same level of success. In November of 2014, Gilman revealed that he is gay — and called out the country music industry to support LGBTQ artists.

Gilman first landed on Team Adam during The Voice‘s blind auditions; he performed Adele‘s “When We Were Young” and got all four judges to turn their chairs for him. Fans who would like to see Gilman advance to the Top 10 of the TV singing competition can vote for him on the show's official website and download his version of "All I Ask" on iTunes prior to eliminations on Tuesday night (Nov. 22).
