Benefit Tonight for Huntington’s Disease Society of America at The Jupiter in Tuscaloosa

The 2014 B.A.S.H. (Bring A Stop to Huntingtons) is at the The Jupiter Bar tonight and the doors open for general public at 9pm!!

All proceeds go to Huntington's Disease Society of America. Their mission is to improve the lives of people with Huntington's disease and their families. To promote and support research and medical efforts to eradicate Huntington's Disease. To assist people and families affected by Huntington's Disease to cope with the problems presented by the disease and to educate the public and health professionals about Huntington's disease.

An article on the Mayo Clinic website describers Huntington's disease as,

... an inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown (degeneration) of nerve cells in the brain. Huntington's disease has a broad impact on a person's functional abilities and usually results in movement, thinking (cognitive) and psychiatric disorders.

Tonight's event at The Jupiter includes drink specials and music from BadStick, DJ Neela, and Sean Rivers. Donations will be accepted all night long and event koozies and t-shirts will be sold!

There will also be a guitar up for silent auction signed by Cole Swindell, Glen Templeton, Bubba Sparxx, Sean Rivers, Ricky Young, Tyler Reeve, and Daryl Aldridge. Sean Rivers shared a picture on his Twitter and Instagram feeds.
