Bayou Teche Brewing Company LA 31 BièRe Noire – Craft Beer of the Week

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Greene Beverage to put a spotlight on some of the phenomenally flavored craft beers that are being distributing throughout Tuscaloosa!

Our featured craft beer this week is from a brewery who is quickly growing into one of my favorites, Bayou Teche Brewing Company based out of Arnaudville, Louisiana. Honestly, this bottle has been sitting in my office refrigerator for the last three weeks and the urge to bust open the top and pour a tall glass of this coffee flavored gold has been killing!

The overall taste is a roasted malt with a sweet, almost coconut flavor. There are some subtle coffee and chocolate notes but they aren't in anyway overwhelming. The mouthfeel (a product's physical and chemical interaction in the mouth) is excellent with just the right amount of body. All in all, a solid beer that would be excellent paired with a juicy steak or grilled burger.
