An Old Song For New Year’s Day – Charlie Robison

New Years Day is tomorrow. In 2004 Charlie Robison released his album "Good Times". This album has two of my 3  favorite Charlie Robison songs and one of them is perfect for tomorrow.

My first favorite is El Cerrito Place, written by Keith Gattis. It was originally recorded for "Good Times". Kenny Chesney went on to record the song for his 2012 album "Welcome To The Fishbowl".

Charlie Robison actually wrote my second favorite song on his 1998 album "Life of The Party" called My Hometown.

Finally, my third favorite, and the song perfect for New Year's Day, is another song written by Robison from his "Good Times" album, New Year's Day.
