From the desk of Brent Hardin: The Alabama Men are heading to Nationals on a good run. Friday, the Alabama men had two home games, one against Edinboro in the morning and the second against Auburn in the evening. In both games the men were able to get off to a quick start. Alabama ended the day undefeated. In the morning game, the final score was Alabama 65, Edinboro 36. In the evening game, the score was Alabama 56, Auburn 30. On Saturday, the Alabama men played in the historic Foster Auditorium. Alabama played great defense on the final possession, but Illinois made a tough outside shot in the final ten seconds to clinch a one point victory. The final score was Illinois 42, Alabama 41. The Alabama Men end the regular season 11-10 Overall and 7-8 in Conference and will head to Nationals as the 5 Seed and will play Missouri in the first round. Bama is going into nationals hungry, full of confidence, and ready to make a push for the title. Roll Tide Roll!
