The Southeastern Conference and the University of Alabama announced the 2014 conference football schedule on Wednesday. Alabama plays home SEC games against Florida, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Auburn. UA travels to Ole Miss, Arkansas, Tennessee and LSU in league play.

The Crimson Tide will open the 2014 season against West Virginia, which will take place in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game for the second straight year and fourth time overall. Alabama opened the 2008 and 2009 seasons in Atlanta with wins over Clemson and Virginia Tech, respectively. UA and Virginia Tech kick off the season this year in the Georgia Dome on August 31. Florida Atlantic travels to Tuscaloosa on September 6 and UA hosts Western Carolina on November 22. Alabama’s final non-conference opponent and the date of that game is yet to be determined.
