The National Football Foundation released its list of 1,161 student-athletes on 2018 NCAA and NAIA football rosters today and the Alabama Crimson Tide once again ranks among the national leaders in active players who have already received their degrees.

Alabama’s 12 graduates ties for eighth among all college football programs in the NCAA and NAIA for the 2018 season. It also ties for eighth in the Football Bowl Subdivision and shares No. 1 in the Southeastern Conference with Auburn.

Crimson Tide student-athletes who took the field with degree in hand this season include Keaton Anderson, Joshua Casher, Ronnie Clark, Johnny Dwight, Hale Hentges, Austin Jones, Derek Kief, Christian Miller, Jamey Mosley, Richie Petitbon, Ross Pierschbacher and Deionte Thompson.

Since 2013, Alabama has seen 136 degrees earned (graduate and undergraduate) by players who were still suiting up for the Crimson Tide following graduation. Since the 2010 season, Alabama has seen 15 players earn a master’s degree before stepping foot on the field for the final time.
