Alabama Players Share Condolences for Philip Lutzenkirchen
The state of Alabama was shaken Sunday morning with the news of Philip Lutzenkirchen’s tragic death. The former Auburn tight end, only 23, was killed in a one-car accident at 3:05 am in Georgia.
Many fans in the state of Alabama will remember the touchdown catch that completed a remarkable Iron Bowl comeback for the Tigers and helped the team to an eventual national championship in 2010. But allegiances have been set aside as fans and players have taken time to share thoughts and condolences for one of the best players ever at his position for Auburn.
