Nine-time Grammy Award nominated country singer-songwriter, Jamey Johnson, is coming back to Birmingham for two nights this week!

This Thursday, January 5th and Friday, January 6th, Johnson will bring his new take on a classic country sound back to the stage at Iron City. Tickets to both shows are still on sale but are going fast! Get yours here.

A native of Montgomery, Johnson’s live shows are known for being a rowdy, honky-tonk history lesson with the singer giving audiences a taste of songs he’s written for himself and others as well as a myriad of classic country tracks from artists like Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe, Bob Seger, Ray Price, and more.

The Washington Post called him ‘one of the greatest country singers of our time’ and he’s one of the few artists to ever win two Song of the Year Awards from both the CMA and ACMs. Johnson, who has received 11 Grammy nominations, released his fifth album in 2012 entitled Living for a Song: A Tribute to Hank Cochran.

Come out and see why this platinum selling Alabama boy has been taking the country world by storm. Doors open at 7PM and the show begins at 8PM each night!
