The Alabama Crimson Tide are headed to the College Football Playoffs after all.  The Tide were the pick ahead of Ohio State who won the Big Ten Championship game last night, beating Wisconsin 27-21.  Alabama made the cut despite being idle Saturday and not winning the SEC title. Its lone loss was 26-14 setback to Auburn in the Iron Bowl.

#1 seed Clemson will face #4 Alabama in the Allstate Sugar Bowl, while #2 Oklahoma will play #3 Georgia in the Rose Bowl Game Presented by Northwestern Mutual.

The semifinal winners will play for the national title on Jan. 8 in Atlanta.

The Buckeyes (11-2) held on to beat Wisconsin 27-21 in the Big Ten championship game, but it was not enough.
