Dana Duckworth, head coach of Alabama’s defending NCAA regional champion gymnastics team, announced the Crimson Tide’s 2017 home schedule on Thursday.

“This is a great home schedule for our ladies and our fans,” Duckworth said. “We can’t wait to be out there on the floor of Coleman Coliseum again in front of the nation’s best fans. This schedule is full of established powerhouses and rivals as well as some up-and-coming teams. It’s a tough schedule that will challenge us and prepare us for the championship season.”

Alabama, which posted its NCAA-best 23rd top-3 national finish in 2016, will open its five-meet 2017 home slate on Friday, January 13 against 2016 NCAA runner-up LSU in Coleman Coliseum. Three weeks later, Alabama will take on defending Southeastern Conference champion Florida on Friday, February 3.

The Auburn Tigers key a two-week home stand on Friday, Feb. 17 followed by Boise State on Friday, Feb. 24. Alabama closes out its home schedule on March 10 against Iowa State.

The rest of the Tide’s schedule will announced later in the fall while the times for Alabama’s meets will be set after the SEC announces the 2017 broadcast schedule.

Season tickets for the 2017 home meets are on sale now through the Alabama Ticket Office (205.348.2262), located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum, and online at RollTide.com.
