Alabama Ghostbusters On Madison And Shepherd

It has been years since I have watched the movie "Ghostbusters". I have always been a fan.  Everyone knows the movie, everyone knows what to say when someone asks "Who you gonna call?"

I was introduced to a web video series called Alabama Ghostbusters a week or so ago.   University of Alabama professor Adam Schwartz writes and directs the web series. It is produced by students in his advanced TV production class.

Basically, it's a group of Ghostbusters fans having fun. The web series "Fan Films" are 9 min long and the "plot" centers around the Ghostbusters investigation of the strange disappearance of a young girl.  They are 3 deep in production.

We are a growing group of fans located in all over Alabama celebrating Ghostbuster fandom who work together to do fandom events, ranging from charity events to conventions, and meet socially within our group and with other groups. More than anything, we are here to share our love of Ghostbusters with our fellow fan - hopefully you!

Madison and Shepherd will have director Adam Schwartz and possibly a cast member in studio Wednesday morning.
