When Nick Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa that January morning in 2007, Alabama fans hoped that the famed coach could restore the Alabama brand name-taking the team back to national prominance.

Prior to Saban's arrival, Alabama had been inconsistant-unable to sustain the success that is evident from the plazza outside Bryant Denny Stadium to the videos that play inside prior to kickoff.  However, as the university plane touched down at Tuscaloosa Regional Airport that afternoon amid a Crimson Tide of fans it was all about to change.

Alabama's expectations were high, however Saban did the unthinkable-he exceded them.

Monday night captured his fourth national championship as a head coach inlcuding his 3rd in four seasons at the Capstone (completing his sixth season at Alabama).  While the resume is already impressive, Joey Lucci from Phil Steele Publications watched the national championship game realizing that Alabama has a tremendous chance to continue.

Days before either Alabama or Notre Dame stepped foot on the Sun Life Stadium field under the bright lights, soaking in the humid air of Miami Gardens, Lucci made a prediction on the outcome of the game.  Although Lucci picked against the Crimson Tide once, he says its a mistake he'll not make again.
