The University of Alabama has decided to move the final baseball game of the series against Kentucky from Sunday to Saturday due to weather concerns.

Here is the school's release:

Due to anticipated rain showers late Saturday night into Sunday in the Tuscaloosa area, Alabama and No. 20 Kentucky will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 15, with first pitch at 12:35 p.m. CT. Game two of the doubleheader will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game one and both games will be nine-inning contests. With this change, there will be no game on Sunday as the three-game series will conclude on Saturday.

The game on Saturday had originally been scheduled for 6:00 PM CT so the schedule will move up significantly. Good news for fans is that tickets to either Saturday's or Sunday's game will be valid for admission. According to the University, the stadium will not be cleared out during games so one ticket will get you access to both if you choose to stay.

As for the right field terrace, capacity will not change for doubleheader, which means that 1,100 people will still be allowed into the area before it's closed for entry. Once a fan has entered, he or she will have access to the terrace for both games. There will be no additional entry for game two nor will the terrace be cleared out between games.

Fans can hear the broadcast of the entire weekend series on 99.1 FM in Tuscaloosa.
