Since the cold weather has ended, Southern Ale House on McFarland Blvd. has brought back live acoustic music to their patio!

We were excited to learn that this Thursday our good friend and one of the best songwriters we know, Adam Hood, would be entertaining anyone who wanted to come and watch!

A resident of Northport, Adam Hood has enjoyed success in his many years as part of the Texas music scene and has seen quite a bit of airplay on country radio across the country as a songwriter. He’s penned songs for Lee Ann Womack, Eli Young Band, David Nail, Josh Abbott Band, and Frankie Ballard among others. He also now has a gold record on his wall thanks to the song ‘Front Porch Thing’ that appeared on Little Big Town’s Tornado record.

The show will start at 6:30 but you may need to get there a few minutes early to secure a good parking place and even better seat!

Southern Ale House is located at 1530 McFarland Blvd. North in Tuscaloosa. They have full dinner and drink menus so come hungry! In my opinion, you can never go wrong ordering one of their savory southern biscuits and a local pint.

Here a glimpse at what to expect on Thursday night...
