3 Doors Down rocked a few Alabama fans on Saturday night when they stopped in to play the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre.

President of the Alabama State Troopers Association, Lieutenant David Steward went to the show and made his way backstage. In his pocket was a few Trooper patches that he intended to give his favorite band.

During the pre-show meet and greet, Steward handed a patch to guitarist Chris Henderson who said, “This patch will be on my guitar tonight.” Not only did Henderson keep his word and rock the patch but bassist Justin Biltonen joined in and attached one to the body of his Gibson Thunderbird!

The men and women of our Alabama law enforcement sacrifice a lot to keep us safe and it's great to see that even a group of Grammy Award nominees from Escumbia, MS acknowledge and respect that.
