Today Governor Robert Bentley expanded the drought-related state of emergency declaration to all 67 Alabama counties.   The entire state of Alabama is now under a "no-burn" order, prohibiting any and all outdoor burning due to the risk of wildfire.

James Spann says most of the state hasn't seen much rain in almost 40 days and we are suffering from extreme drought.  Spain says expect cooler temps this weekend and maybe rain in 7 or 8 days for the southern part of Alabama.

We are told that the shores of Lake Purdy, a reservoir used by the Birmingham Water Works Board, whose shores have receded 19 feet, and is hovering at around 25 percent of its usual capacity according to AL.com.
