U2 and Red Hot Chili Peppers are two of the 2017 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival headliners, but Cam and Margo Price are acts country fans may be most interested in. The full slate of performers was released on Wednesday morning (Jan. 11).

"Hurricane" singer Luke Combs, Greensky Bluegrass and Aaron Lee Tasjan are three more that represent country, Americana and bluegrass. Bonnaroo always has a diverse slate of artists with several major headliners. The Weeknd and Chance the Rapper are the other headliners for the June 8-11 festival in Manchester, Tenn.

Tickets are available now through the Bonnaroo website. There's also a full list of the weekend's performers. Other artists revealed for the 16th annual fest include Major Lazer, Flume, Lorde and Cage the Elephant. There are dozens of performers during an important year for the festival. Bonnaroo is hoping to bounce back from a poorly attended year in 2016. Sam Hunt, Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell and Anderson East were part of a heavy country year last year. Pearl Jam was one of the headliners.

Once again Bonnaroo will compete with the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, just 60 miles north of Manchester. Most years this has not been a problem for either festival's attendance, although at times hotel rooms have become difficult to come by. Every year more country music festivals are announced and while some fail to thrive, competition for country fans has become fierce. You can find a list of all 2017 country festivals and performers at the Taste of Country Festival Hub.

The 2017 Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, N.Y., is also that weekend, featuring Jason Aldean, Hunt and Miranda Lambert.
