13th Annual Doctors’ Day 10K and Fun Run This Saturday

It's National Doctor's Day today. It is a day to celebrate the contribution of physicians who serve our country by caring for its' citizens. The Tuscaloosa County Medical Alliance honors our community's physicians with the annual Doctors' Day 10K and Fun Run this Saturday, April 2nd at 8:00 am at Sokol Park.

The primary goal of the Tuscaloosa County Medical Alliance is to promote health and well-being in our community. All proceeds from this event benefit local health-related projects and agencies like The Good Samaritan Clinic, The Boys and Girls Club, Turning Point, Eagles’ Wings, A Woman's Place, and two local soup bowl services. Their efforts also support our Adopt-A-School, Alberta Elementary.

The race is a Certified Grand Prix event for the Tuscaloosa Track Club and you can get signed up here. For those who have per-registered, packet pick-up for the Doctors' Day 10K and Fun Run will be Friday, April 1st from 5-7pm at Wagners Runwalk running shoes and apparel.
